About the Firm — Axiom Business Partners

Axiom Business Partners has been helping companies with Microsoft Dynamics since 2002. It is a deliberately small firm. The firm takes on a limited number of engagements at a time so that each one receives the attention senior work deserves — not the attention left over after a dozen junior projects have absorbed the day.

We work directly with end clients on Business Central implementations, Dynamics GP migrations, ongoing Dynamics GP support, and advisory engagements on either platform. We also work as a senior resource alongside other partners who need MVP-caliber depth on a specific project without adding it permanently to their bench. Both kinds of work suit the firm well.

The associates we work with are independent practitioners chosen for the same reasons clients choose us: deep platform knowledge, a long track record, and the ability to be useful from the first conversation. There is no pyramid of junior consultants behind the senior names. The person you meet is the person who does the work.

Shane Hall, CPA

Shane began working with Microsoft Dynamics GP in 1995 as an end-user implementing the platform inside Canada's National Science & Technology Museum (Ingenium). In 1998, he made the move from end-user to consultant, joining the Boston office of a major national Dynamics partner. He founded Axiom Business Partners in 2002. From 2008 to 2021, Shane built and ran an independent software vendor practice — Reporting-Central — focused on close-management and reconciliation tools for the Dynamics GP community. The product line, including The Closer, was sold in 2021.

He created The Closer, The Validator, and The Corrector — three add-ons used by hundreds of companies on Dynamics GP. The Closer became the close-management tool of choice for many Dynamics partners and their clients.

Shane is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Corporate Finance from Carleton University and an MBA from the University of Fredericton. He has been named to DynamicsWorld UK's Top 100 Most Influential People in Microsoft Dynamics and has spoken at Microsoft Convergence and GPUG Summit.
